Hands free system UNLOCKED Mitsubishi

It did not work on my 2015 mitsubishi outlander but it did bring me to a diagnostics screen. The hands free system is still lock but this video was better than any forum I have been on.

OMG I can't thank you enough you are so freaking awesome. Thank you!! I've had this pos for a year and a half tried the dealership I got it at they knew nothing about it. I've been looking online after almost giving up and just using my tethering option but thank you for taking the time and in 3 seconds unlocked it.

Cheers! 🍻 Just bought a 2013 Lancer and had the exact same issue, scoured through the Mitsubishi forums, Reddit etc. couldn't find anything specific to the radio head unit in mine... thankfully stumbled across this which features the same unit, followed your instructions and it actually worked!
Managed to remove the prev details and also have now set up the audio with phone, it works an absolute dream

For a Mitsubishi Outlander 2014 I used the following method: press the ‘Settings’ and ‘Map’ buttons simultaneously for a few seconds untill you get a second menu with the option ‘Hands free module’, select it and the system will guide you through to unlock the system. Hope it helps.

Please try the following steps to clear the passcode from your vehicle:

1. Ensure power is OFF for the radio.
2. Press and release the following buttons in this order 1 RPT, << SEEK, SEEK >>, 4>>
3. The words HFM DIAG should appear on the screen.
4. Press and release the SEL button.
5. Hold down the SEL button for a long time(about 5sec).
6. Disable the passcode
