Id bet the cause of these solenoids going bad is them getting stuck open or closed due to very particulate contaminated transmission fluid getting metal shavings and even the odd dirt particle lodged in that moving lever within the solenoid....thus it wont click on and of story keep your transmission fluid changed and clean about every 60k....at least and dont forget to change that tranny filter ....this means getting that pan off and getting a new gasket in addition to that filter and OEM fluid. And test those solenoids while you are at it just to be putting it all back again together....then good to go for another 60K at least.

How much to repair this issue ? And could a cleaner help with this type of problem.my Lexus has this problem I got a code while back and I notice it gets stuck in 2nd gear . I usually feel the hesitation at low speeds but it's not a bad jerk at all mostly a air sound with sluggish acceleration.

So connect the other end at a positive and negative of a 12v or 9 volt power source?

All selenoid Support 12v but this way wrong way because every selenoid chracteristic different

Its not even properly connected 😂, proper testing is required when all solenoid are in their sockets .
