The fact that I have to have a PS5 is a major deal breaker for me.

It has an LCD screen. It also doesn't have Bluetooth. So if you want to use wireless headphones, you're gonna have to spend $150+ on Sony's proprietary headphones/earbuds.

For the price, I would've expected Hall sensing sticks or detachable controllers. It's battery will deplete faster than a regular DS and I want something that lasts atleast 3-4 years.

You most definitely CAN wake your PS4 and PS5 from rest mode with the remote play app on Android.

I feel like Sony hasn't been paying attention to the current handheld and phone market before creating this device. I mean, c'mon - even the PSPlay app on a cell phone or handheld can already do everything the prelaunch specs show. Hopefully they'll add Bluetooth, storage, and cloud gaming. This reminds me of the Wii U concept. On a lighter note, it does look comfortable asf to play.

A hard NOPE. The one thing that works for it is that it has no software so Sony won't be able to suddenly stop supporting it like they have every other portable, but it's JUST a Vita TV on the go without the ability to play Vita games natively. It might be nice once people hack it and give it a purpose though but who knows if the processor in it will be worth the trouble.

199 is same price as switch, and I can do the same as portal with my phone/tablet and dual shock controller. Hard sell

Sony could of blown Nintendo out of the water, had they continued making dedicated handheld hardware. It’s really a shame, and why I’ll be switching to gaming pcs after all these years of loving PlayStation.
