I’ve always looked at Danica same way I looked at Travis Pastrana, an athlete from a completely different discipline that didn’t translate but difference is Travis actually was a likeable and respected by everyone even being honest saying “ I ran out of talent” even when he’d get taken out of races through no fault of his own would instantly apologize to the team. As for Danica as a person, I’ve got a sister who was diagnosed with ovarian cancer so Sherry and MTJ are two people I looked up to for many years so in regards to those comments. To put it lightly it felt disrespectful not just to Pollex family and the Truex but also to those family suffering from ovarian cancer. The fact her name is more popular than girls like Michelle Mouton, the Force sister or Leah Pruett who won in their racing category and even battled for championship ( with Brittany force being a NHRA champion) is criminal

Her downfall started as soon as she not only left IndyCar, but was rushed to full-time.

The MTJ bash after Sherry Pollex died was the final nail in the coffin. The fact that she still has a job in Sky Sports F1 is so pathetic. She’s been irrelevant in a long time, why are they keeping her? She’s no Bernie Collins!

Always hated Danica. She was never going to make it in motorsports and she absolutely messed it up for talented women to make it big. It seems much harder now for any woman to make it into the big leagues, currently in NASCAR at least, highest you get is Xfinity series.

What she said about MTJ using Sherry was the ultimate end. With a statement like that, she needs something else to back it up. If something came out that showed Truex had treated Sherry badly, then she would have been the first to say something, but nothing came out. It was just classless to say what she did.

agreed she should have stayed in Indy car before transitioning to stock car racing and made smarter decisions on and off the track and should have kept some things to herself then her career and NASCAR would be a lot better
