This is partly true and partly not. High cervix is we know the basic position of the cervix, yes, it does go a little higher in early pregnancy and this is because of the pregnant uterus that it pulling it up and the ligaments that are holding the uterus are very turgid because of the hormones of pregnancy and that allows the uterus to come up and so the cervix, that is the mouth of the uterus come up. The second part, if it is hard in early pregnancy, it is not true. On the contrary, the cervix is soft because of increased blood circulation sensory to the hormones of pregnancy; it is very soft and very leaky to touch.

I’m not trying to sound weird at all, but I track the position of my cervix and it it definitely lower when I’m about to start my period and firm like the tip of my nose. However, this time I’ve noticed it’s moving higher up but the bottom of my cervix is super soft while the top is kind of hard but not as hard as it’s been in the past. My period should start next week but last week I was experiencing really bad cramps in my lower abdomen as well as constipation and terrible bloating. I’m not sure if I should shrug it off? I haven’t (from what I can tell) had implantation spotting, but at the same time I didn’t know it could be a really tiny amount that is only noticeable on toilet paper. I’m at a stand still :’)

My cervix is low and somewhat soft but am 4th week pregnant

I'm now 10 dpo. Checked my cervix 3 days ago, it was high and soft. Today checked again and it's even softer than before. My period should come in a week, so we will see 😂
