I think they may only take on some repetitive jobs. This has already happened in industrialization when we started mass manufacturing with automation and machines. Our jobs just change to higher level jobs. There will also be new jobs to maintain, fix, program, salvage, and create robots.

To be more precise, the first law of robotics is "A robot must not harm humans, or through inaction, allow humans to come to harm", the second law ends as "except where obeying such orders would interfere with obeying the first law", and eventually there's a Zeroth law, but that's later in the series.
