8:48 i am 38 years old, been with my old lady for 20 years, we got together at 16 and 18, and we have no kids... aside from my family, which i have VERY little left, driving has been one of the biggest joys of my life... holding the wheel, hearing/feeling the engine roar, the smells of gas/desil/burned rubber, the the rush of acceleration, the G-force from a good turn, NOTHING can simulate knowing that those feelings are coming from something YOU are in control of...

Optimus completely eliminates the argument for illegal migrants being needed for jobs Americans won't do. Harvesting crops, digging ditches, cleaning out stables, cleaning streets, unclogging sewers, loading and unloading trucks, etc. Also jobs that are boring but require patience and attention and are frustration prone -- like carers for elderly with dementia or other disabilities at any age -- so are expensive. Instead of an elderly person with mobility issues needing to pay $50k/yr for a home carer or move into a nursing home at similar annual expense to Medicare and their family, a one-time cost of $30k for an Optimus helpbot for the last 10 years of your life sounds like a pretty good thing. Especially if that same bot will keep the house clean, call for help in emergencies 24/7, do the yard work, cook meals, keep the cat from eating you when you eventually die, etc. I had a family friend with no known health problems die at home and nobody found the body for weeks.
