1. Open Google Docs Document and insert the text
2. Click on the text line and Click on The "Format" option
3. Under the "Format" option Click on "Paragraph and styles" and then on Borders and Shading
4. Under the dashboard select "Bottom Border" in "Position" tab
5. You can change the horizontal line thickness, make doted or dash line, change horizontal line spacing and can also change the color of the line
6. Once done click on "Apply" to Put a Line Under Text in Google Docs
You can also type on a line in google docs that we just inserted.

how to put a line just under one word, not the full sentence? Also for one word, how can I increase the space with the word and the line?

How do I undo this underline if it is from the past and I can't just do Cntrl Z anymore...
