How To Put Line on a BAITCASTER!

In this video I'll show you how to put monofilament or flourocarbon line on a baitcasting reel. This is a pretty simple process and once you do it a couple of times it's easy to remember and if you ever forget, just watch this video again!

One tip. If you untwist and remove the brake on the side, you can pop the whole spool out and it makes getting the line through the holes much easier.

I soak my line in water with a little bit of wd40 for a week. It takes off any memory and oils up the line so it is less stiff on my spool stops it from gaining a memory over time. the wd40 does not weaken the line in my experience I have done this with everything from 2lb test to 80lb test mono/fluoro and with braid as well in different weight sized
