I love how they did it in Sparking. Trunk's timeline is not gone. He has the chance to revive his timeline with Super dragon ball. However he puts the multiverse over his own timeline. Also addressing the trauma He still had with the Androids.

My problem is that it had an interesting start and concept. It could have been the best arc in dragon ball super, but that ending is terrible.

Worst ending imaginable for a DB arc. The show is about fighting and getting stronger. Having to call zeno to defeat the enemy nullifies all the struggle to that point. The heroes weren't strong enough. The show should've ended there if anything. Its probably a worst ending than if zamasu just decided to change his mind, on a whim, and join the good guys at the very last second

Trunks timeline wasn't even the part that bothers me. It's rare to have DB villain win and Zeno's involvement was set up. What pissed me off was how Trunks went to a duplicate timeline rather than staying in the past. Also the Spirit Bomb Sword is BS. The powerscaling straight up got disregarded

They erased all the people that believed in Trunks to save them. He literally failed lmao. The Super Goku who is the worst version of him ever created gets the rest of that Universe erased.

i mean everything was cool for me personally except for that trunks bs it was multiple ways they could’ve gave trunks a more believable power up for example when he came back to goku and vegetas timeline they could’ve did the ritual of gods

I didn't mind it that much. It is definitely better than the beginning arc of GT. Maybe even better than the Super 17 Arc, but I have to go back and watch it.

i don't mind the ending of the goku black arc that much, its not like the zeno button is bullshit, because it was established about 30 something episodes prior to goku using the button. so we always knew he had it, that wasn't a surprise when it came up.
