Bro I dropped back to back to back 20 point games while starting, got hella sick for 4 games, then missed two practices over break because I had work and the coaches didn’t tell us there was practice until the day of, and now that I’m back he benched me for two games (I played like 5 minutes total in each) and now that I’m back with no limitations, he’s starting bums over me and now I’m coming off the bench as 6-7 man 😭😭 (we’ve lost every game since I’ve been benched)

I know that feeling bro. Happened to me last season. I was a starter and scored half my teams points in a couple of our games then I got covid and when I came back I was taken out of the starting lineup even tho we didn’t have any body else that could play my position ( center ) because I am a 6 ft tall 12 year old and everyone else on my team was short. Then the dude my coach had made the star of the team after me didn’t show up for 2 straight games and 3-4 practices and had no good reason and was still starting when he finally came back. I stopped playing for my school after that. We were 1-9 anyway. We sucked lol. I don’t need those looser coaches. I’ll find more coaches and trainers and another team to play for.
