No sound! The template loads with Midi input enabled, once you disable the Mini input then the sound works.
For those that don't know where that is, in the lower left hand corner where there is an "i", scroll over with your mouse pointer to each one, the first one is "Pad Channel", then "Program Channel" then "MIDI Channel" which looks like a horizontal bar graph icon. You want to turn of anything highlighted in red either the M or the S, then you should start hearing sound. I had to go through and do this for each track.

This tutorial sucks only because the file does not load as stated. It loads the entire project already populated with the tracks and notes. Fix your demo!

For all those wonder how to use the Pads to change the sequence: Go to the "preferences", "general tab" and scroll until "program change". You can now send PC to change sequences (or tracks/programs if you want). However, I do not know how he does this in the video since he seems to seamlessly be able to use Prog Change to change the Tracks but then later to change the Sequences without editing the prefs... curious

When I load the template, I miss the plugins: Grand Piano and Hybrid :( so I miss a lot of the music in the Template :(

I’ve downloaded the packs and when I try to drag it into the software it tells me I’m missing sounds. How do I fix this

Is it just me? I cant get the plugins that you get with the Akai to work. Fail to load. I have activated them and used all the software and accounts possible. They work seperately but not in the MPC Beats :O

Anyone else having mad trouble with the folder if using a windows system? it would be cool if you had a quick 1minute video on how it works to set up template ive followed prompts but not working still.

I'm full of enthusiasm after watching DJ Sickik on TikTok, I purchased a MPK3. I started DJing in 1987 til 20015. I'm still trying to work out where do my cassette tapes go in!!!
Kidding, after searching 10's of "tutorials, this one hits top step on the podium. I still feel like I need a uni-degree but I'm sure that my anxiety is only from exposure to so many options. I'd much appreciate a tutorial of importing an old school song and mixing it into something new of my own. Would certainly pay for more simplistic tutorials like this. Thank you.
