The song was recorded in 1984-1985 and I was in first year at high school when this song came out. The girls all went nuts for this song, all because of the lead singer Morten Harket. It was on Top of the Pops, which back then was the main TV program for music. It was brilliant. None of today's pop stars would have made the Top 40 back then.

That song is a classic of the 80's - the original version was recorded and released in 1984 in the month of October
