To be honest. Carrot and Yamato would make great additions to the crew. Especially the dynamic between them

Carrot might draw the manga exploits of the Strawhat crew. She's a talented artist., ( But it will be drawn Shoujo style ( female readers) instead of Shounen (male readers).
She's a great companion for Chopper!

An elbafian would have been greaat, but the vessel aint equipped for someone that huge.

I really want Carrot to join. She's funny, strong enough to hold her own and just fits so well. I wouldn't be mad if Yamato joined but if I had to pick between the 2 I'm choosing Carrot

Not including Luffy, Oda has already foreshadowed that Luffy is going to have 10 members on his crew. So I'm thinking after Yamato (if she joins) will be the last & final member of the Strawhat Crew. Plus this would be perfect for the 1v1s against the BB pirates later in the series.

I support the 13 members theory but don't think Vivi and Karu are considered since It would be perfect to have 4 crewmates in East Blue, 4 more in the Grand Line and 4 more in the New World. I think at the end of Wano Yamato will join the crew (I would have liked Carrot to join and I still think Oda wanted her to do so until he changed his mind at the beginning of the Wano Arc). Then I'd like Bellamy to join and I think he could be the one to make all the Mugiwara flags that will be used as symbols on the countries and lands that will support Luffy as new Emperor/Pirate King (Sakura, Alabasta, Fishman Island, Dressrosa, Wano and even others such as Amazon Lily, Coco Village, Orange Town, Waterseven etc). The last member could be someone we don't know yet (maybe from Elbaf), since I seriously doubt Momonosuke, the character who's always been foreshadowed as the next shogun in Wano, will leave his country and family to join Luffy (a man he sure likes but has never seen as his superior rather than a friendly rival).
Also, supporting the chinese zodiac theory: Yamato is of course the Dog and Bellamy could be the rabbit since his power Is basically to jump very high.

i think both marco and yamato will join after wano arc.. as you know marco helped luffy before and just for his sake he came back to help him in the land of wano... and luffy also wanted to thank him for helping him back then so maybe just like luffy invited jimbei he will invite marco to join his crew ...
