A1 is my go to. I think it's one of the best!

I’ve got them all, first x1c, then a1mini, then p1s and p1p then last a1. Best for maintenance is the a1 and a1mini but speed goes to the x1c and p1 series. The print area isn’t 256 on x1 and p1 series due to a restricted area on the from left corner where as the a1 can use the full build plate. The print head on the a1 series is more advanced than the x1 and p1 series due to additional sensors for active flow and pressure control.

As someone who uses a printer as a tool for random stuff around the house/shop a few times a week/month but is also coming from the old world of printers (my last printer was a sidewinder X1 from 2020) the A1 is a perfect machine. I have yet to be let down by this machine. It's going to be my #1 recommend printer for a while I think. Just having a machine I can send a print to from my phone without needing to get on a PC is super nice. My old machine had octoprint but it's not the same. Also if a print does fail there's no real issue changing the nozzle. Just push the cutter in and swap the nozzle in 2 minutes. No tools or mess. When Bambu released My first thought was "these machines will break down with in months and be unreliable" well it's been years and people are using their machines in print farms and claiming they are more reliable than prusa machines which blows my mind. So it's nice to know this is a machine that can last as long or longer than my sidewinder as long as parts are available. And that's the one down side. Proprietary parts. But they're at least cheap from Bambu.

I agree. It's the best choice at this moment in time. I'm hoping to get another Bambu soon!

I bought an anycubic kobra 2 neo because it seemed good. It was my first printer a month ago. I now own a bambu a1. I wish I never bought that anycubic printer for lots of reasons. Glad I still have it for many other reasons. 3d printing is hard. :)

I went with the A1 and AMS lite for my first 3d printer to print terrain for mini gaming. I haven’t done a lot of multicolor printing but I love having the AMS to automatically continue a print with the same color filament when the first roll runs out. So I never have to worry about the amount of filament on a reel. I also really like that the AMS lite detects the Bambu filament type and color automatically. The A1 has worked above my expectations. I’m really interested in what Bambu Labs does next.

I would be interested to know if the closed P1S is less dangerous to health? If the P1S uses a fan to exhaust the air from the enclosure and doesn't do it through a HEPA filter, I don't think there is much point in printing in an enclosure. I mean from a health point of view. I'd have the printer in a room, so the VOC fumes problem worries me a bit. The A1 is open, so has no protection.

On the X1C page:
"We set 5 goals before we set off on this journey 22 months ago:
* No more Bed-Slingers..."

I just bought the A1 mini as my first printer so I'm binging videos while I wait. I couldn't help thinking about humidity during the entire video. Guitars on one side and is that filament on the other? Let the battle begin 😆

Right on. Couldn’t agree more. I have the mini and p1p.

Only sheep buy bambu. You have to be ok with no privacy All your "disk1" data is being sent to a amazon server. this includes camera shots. If you plan on doing anything that requires a NDA you will NOT be able to do so with a bambu printer. and now with options like a enraged rabbit or the KCM upgrade setup for Klipper or the Chroma or 3d chameleon slap that on a SV08 with a 350mm build plate.

I won't buy a Bambu based on one simple concept. - EVERY SINGLE YOUTBER HAS ONE, and frankly they got them for free so therefore they're recommendation means NOTHING since hey .. i got thing for free.. if i say something bad, i won't get more stuff for free... so therefore meaningless.
