Just a bit of trivia about "The Michigan, I don't know if you are interested. But Mike Legg learned how to do this move from Bill Armstrong while the two trained together in London, Ontario. Armstrong actually did it 6 times in the AHL and IHL before Legg did it at the University of Michigan. Plus Armstrong did it two more times after that too. And, Go Leafs

I can do the “scoop up” the puck pretty consistently but “dig under” is tougher
Do you think the thinner blade would help ?

Cool trick. Ever tried doing it while skating straight at the goal? Go to the left side to draw in the goalie, then dump the puck in the top right corner.

So I practiced the michigan and got some consistency on my shooting pad but a problem I encountered on the ice is that over time my blade gets wet from snow and ice and I can't gain traction on the puck. Any solutions?

Donno why, but the only time I can catch the puck is when the puck flips and settles on the blade
