I still highly suggest Narwa because it's really easy especially if you are farming and want it on autopilot. Narwa farm nets you 1200-1350 pts in a 5-6 minutes hunt. That time is really easy with end game sets, solo, fully decked out palamutes (Crit up L/Atk up L and Status Up L), felyne weakener, and just knowing the fight. You can do 4min once you have mastered narwa. This nets you 3600-4050 melding pts in 16minutes (quest prep and eating time included). Narwa hunts, by a large margin, still outclass any farming methods in Endgame.

My test runs averages are:

Bow - 4:30 (40 hunts)
GS - 5:03 (100 hunts)
LBG - 4:10 (50 hunts)
Lance - 6:05 (20 hunts)

I'm just an average hunter and I guarantee that anyone can do this.

better strat, do the teostra quest and if rajang is on the map go to him first, ride him, bring him over to magna, attack magna with the back heavy attack 3 times then slam rajang into him, jump on maga and only hit rajang 2 times with the back heavy attack then run to teo, hit teo 3 times with heavy attacks and slam into Teo, jump on teo slam into magna, then pick up all the shinies, even backtracking to where you encountered magna

if rakna is on the map than go magna, rakna, teo and do simliar strat, it only takes 3 minutes and you get 1-2 full melds by doing it

Have you tried going into an expedition with Rajang in it and just riding the monsters into each other and just leaving? I like it because its quick and little to know risk of dying.

Any monster hr 7 and above Will give Nice materials. Elder Dragons and Bazelgeuse are great and about as good as Narwa for materials.

The fastest way is to ride, slam into each others, and leave. But personally, I like to do rampage diablos quest for melding. The chaotic situation and hunters running all over the place. It's funny!!

All this depends on your fighting style weapon type etc. I dont have an offensive build...ever, so every fight takes 15 or more. And I refuse to do rampage, and fought narwa once and that was too many since I dont multiplayer so. And I dont meld so I guess I just watch your vids for the hell of it
