For anyone wondering where the grace he starts from is, it's the Smoldering Wall in Caelid. Doesn't show it in the beginning of the video for some reason. Also, when in the rot turning and doing a repeat back step is much faster than normal walking. Whatever you do DON'T roll in the rot as it covers you and makes it last much longer.

for anyone wondering, he is using the base dagger that you can buy from the twin maiden husks at the round table hold.

For those not able to get to the boss: Use armour pieces that give the most "immunity" in order to slow down the rot build up and use a dagger and press L2 to move quickly through the liquid
