What’s happening in this Jaws: The Revenge movie clip?
Michael (Lance Guest), Jake (Mario Van Peebles), and their crew encounter the shark while on sea. Jake is eager to research it because great white sharks have never been seen in the Bahamas due to the warm water. Michael asks him not to mention the shark to his family. During the day, Ellen (Lorraine Gary) can keep her mind off the shark, but at night her nightmares of being attacked by it. She is also able to feel when the shark is about to attack one of her loved ones.

This movie would've been better if it didn't have Ellen in it, and if it had nothing to do with the shark trying to get revenge

I assume that the blood came from the shark after it bit the boat. Perhaps the wood cut the shark and/or a tooth broke off. Maybe that's why it finally stopped and dived back underwater. That's what I'm thinking.

If they had dropped the stupid telepathy angle between Ellen and the Shark, this would easily be the best scene in the film (not saying much but still). The horrifying look on Michael’s face was extremely effective, he’s recalling all the memories of the sharks and it’s absolutely terrifying to him.

So, the shark swam 1100 miles from Amity to here... How did it even know? Was it following their plane or something? Sharks on Facebook now?

Is it fair to call Mike Brody the dumbest character in this franchise? Why does he keep going back to the ocean? In the first movie the shark ate two people right in front of him but in the next movie all he cares about is sailing with his friends all the time. I'll chalk that up to the ignorance of a teenager but then the second shark nearly killed him and his brother while also deeply traumatizing Sean. Then he goes to work at sea world where I feel his chances of running into a shark are greatly increased. Him and Sean end up having another brush with a great white. Now I'll give him props for getting his next job in warm waters where a shark won't go after him but come on. Two's a coincidence but three's a pattern. These things are coming after you until the end of time. Go find a job in a desert.

It's eating the boat so much, trying to get to Michael, but it's teeth are falling out so it had to retreat to get it's teeth to grow back.

Other thing about the Jaws sequels that doesn't make sense is why hasn't the Brody family just moved away from the ocean or all sea related events.. Michael Brody is like oh I nearly got eaten by a Shark twice so let's go to sea world I am totally not gonna die.. and I am just like haven't you learned your lesson yet that the Brody family has the worst luck with sharks.. sharks are indeed scary but all you have to do is just stay away from the ocean problem solved..
