The worst part of this is that they literally make “barefoot” shoes that still protect your feet while simulating the benefits of being barefoot (they have bottoms, but are thinner and more flexible and have ample room for your toes to spread out). Just get some of those!

the point of walking barefoot is for your toes to not be squished by the toe box of your shoes… their toes are STILL being squished together except now they also have to worry about walking on broken glass 😭
