I am an Indian living in the USA. I thank this country for providing me a good life. It is true that there is very little innovation coming out of India but that is not because of lack of talent. This video itself is silly because the success of minorities in this country is actually a huge success for the country itself. No race is superior to the other. We should learn to respect each other. India also has contributed a lot to the world. Repeated invasions in the past has affected the country.

This is not surprising. India is a country of 1.2 billion people.  The most Indians that come to the US are from the Indian middle class or upper middle class. They go to the US in order to study and they can afford the fees. They didn't go to the US to ask political asylum or to do manual work or other unskilled work.
India has a huge population only a very few percentage of their population still means many in numbers.

This video actually tells us how fair and welcoming, US has been for immigrants and how its a land of opportunity. Same thing can be said about Chinese, Filipinos, Koreans, Egyptians, Lebanese etc, although Indians have performed better than most.

Believe me here, I am Indian in India and education System here sucks.
More emphasis is given on cramming rather than understanding things, even in our drawing.Ask 100 students to draw a scenery and i guarantee you 95 children will draw the same scenery with two mountains and a river emerging from them and the Sun rising from between the mountains with a small house downstream by the river.

I'm an Indian living in the US. The reason why you see so many rich highly educated Indians in America is because of the US's strict immigration policies. No avg Indian could come here. We've got a 3 storey townhouse here and 2 cars atm


P.S. It's mostly Indian hindus, jains and sikhs thriving here. Indian muslims still poor

Dipping into a diverse culture that has developed over thousands of years with quick stereotypes and statistics doesn't do these people justice. Work ethic certainly plays a part but people that see any kind of work as honorable and laziness as a sickness explains why Indians in the west are so successful in traditionally unpopular roles. Our culture pays a premium to people that are willing to work hard in jobs we don't want to do ourselves, working unsocial hours, studying/training for years and being unbearably boring.
