I've never heard of the language of Tahitian. This is what I first heard. But it is very impressive. Especially, the sound of 'moemoea' is very very cute to me. I think It's definitely the best Moana OST in all languages I've ever heard. It mostly suits moana's image. The pronunciation of Tahitian is marvelous and also singer's voice is so sweet. I'm very happy to hear this. Thank you.

Now, I appreciate that they rewrote the song to sound better in Tahitian. It's a refreshing change of pace for my language to not be given center stage for once. Every time the song doesn't quite flow in English, I imagine how great it must sound in Tahitian.

It’s so amazing how Disney loves the culture in its films that they do special language dubbings for the culture in that film, like for Encanto they’re doing Spanish versions in cinemas and for moana they have the Tahitian dub
