Hi,   I have a question regarding these hydrangeas paniculata. It's my first year growing them, but they don't seem to sit well as cut flowers. How do you keep them alive after they have been cut? Mines just don't seem to last no more than 3 days after they have been cut. It's either I'm not using the appropriate flower food or there must be a hidden pesticides that it's eating them up. Any tips would be appreciated very much thank you! 💕

I have a hedge that I'd like to grow together and reach 6ft, so I prob should prune them back less severely, right?

I don't know why but mine don't make long branches they feel like a bonsai only 5 inches or so and then they flower. When I first got the plant they had branches close to 2 feet . But after cutting them back 2 summers ago they just haven't made long branches.. this time I pruned off so may branches it was making so I have a few hoping they will focus on making long growths but nope... They are healthy and green ns showing flowers in the making. But obviously it's only a few inches. They are in a 45 cm pot too. So I don't get it. Fertilized an all. Just don't know what to do
