Zipper ride breaks down during ride.

Wheel popped off and stop the ride. They had to weld it to repair. Glen Bernie.

My dad makes jokes about his every day saying "they are still looking for the missing wheel". I never thought it would actually come true.

I love the whirring sound the zipper makes when it is running. I love to watch the ride, but I’ve never ridden it myself.

It's one of the wheels that it attached to the cabin here 1:05 on the right, 2nd from the bottom. The wheel detaches at 0:45 while it's at top, right.

The same thing happened on the first night the fair came to my town and firefighters had to rescue the people in it, thankfully they got it fixed by the next day

0:48 you can hear something break and a chunk of the mechanism go flying up in the air, then hit again as it goes back down.

Ive been in that ride yesterday 10 times and loved moving the zipper to scare my friends, i love when people overreact.

So from watching it and having knowledge of rides it looks like something popped off the gears in the back that move the ride

Not a catastrophe just a minor issue. These things happen with big machines.

Sometimes little pieces need fixing but not all of them are major malfunctions

I do not get on rides that go up in the air and/or make my feet go over my head. I like to stay on terra firma. I do like to ride the Round-Up. The centrifugal force keeps you safely in one place plus you're strapped in.
