How to split text values in Excel with formulas - Quick Solution ⏳

Have you tried the new TEXTSPLIT function in Excel? It is crazy I tell you.

Awesome! We copy text data (stress values in different directions) from an engineering simulation program and copy/paste into Excel. It is just a run-on of text and all of it is in one column. I think it is formatted as in FORTRAN 77: 80 columns but all slammed into one column in Excel. OMG. Well, you did it again, Chandoo: this will work to segregate the text. Do you think this formula will considerably slow down a sheet if it is run across multiple rows? (Volatile vs non-volatile)
I'm currently pasting a small chunk of text (~20 rows) into a worksheet, running Textsplit() and then recombining everything with Textjoin() and a little Concat().
Sometimes the Textsplit() will not even notice there's something in the cells and the sheet stops updating.
But when it works it is wonderful! 😊
