We know the American government is idiotic but not blind; they know China has surpassed them in a lot of things, and they can't stand it. This makes so much sense. I have heard national security, i have heard Israeli unhappiness, jealousy of the technology all as reasons, but didn't buy any of them. Selling it to Americans, so that Americans can profit from the IPO, that makes much more sense, and tells us why congress moved so fast on this one. Perfect illustration of how our government is by the capitalists, for the capitalists.
