It's really sad to think that a young Burger King cashier refused to accept a $2 bill for payment and alerted her supervisor that the customer was attempting to pass a counterfeit bill and actually called the Police...the education system is failing our children.

I used to watch the old 1920's-30's gangster films and the money always looked huge - I thought that was simply due to the studios using phoney bills. I learned later on that our bills were much larger back then, and I wish they still were!

Personally I Love the big paper currency from the older days.
Kinda like the Cars and Buildings when they really put some pride into products they were sending out into the public.

I worked at a bank in 1976. We received 2 dollar bills. I purchased 5 in sequential order and the post office applied postage stamps to the bills and stamped them. I have others not marked in that way.

I collect different items and I discovered that I have a huge collection of Beanie babies that's now worth thousands of dollars, as well as other things I bought 20 years ago that ate now worth a lot of money. I started saving coins a long time ago and now have several that are very valuable.

I got a flyer in the mail from a local car dealership saying "if the 2 numbers match, you are a winner". Of course the numbers matched. So I went down, flyer in hand. The salesman compared my flyer to their poster and my number did not match the number on their poster. But they had a drawing for cash. I reached in the tumbler and pulled out an envelope which had a $2 bill inside!! I was a happy camper :)

I have 2 bills that are in sequential order. 1976 series. All of them are crispy and unfolded. It has a 1976 stamp on each one and a stamp with the date on each bill and stamp. Any idea what it may be worth?

My Grandmother gave me a new $2 bill in 1956 when I was born. It's still in the birthday card that she gave it to me in. Wonder if it's worth anything?
