"It feels a lot more organic, less deliberately constructed and more like everything happened to fall into place naturally"
Although ironically creating this effect requires way more deliberate construction from the devs

Moss is my favourite VR game. Quill is so cute and she has so much guts! The story is wonderful but I want more.

Another cool fact, she knows a bit of sign language!

Personally, the narrator aspect is really lovely. I never played ths game, but when I heard that, I felt like a preschooler again

I remember hearing about this game for its use of sign language.
I don't own VR yet but this is one of the games I wanted to check out once I do.

We need more games like this and Astrobor for the VR so that market isn't so saturated with, as you said before, gallery or static shooters. A good example of that is The Walker, which was shown when you were scrolling through the PS Store for PSVR shooters. The game costs $10 over here and its original price was $20. The reason why they cut it down was because the game didn't offer much aside from the pretty visuals and functional gameplay. It has a lot of good ideas that sadly weren't expanded upon and for a 2018 game, the enemies are literal damage sponges and the sound is pretty weak at times (and sometimes there's barely any sound). There is some fun to be had with the other difficulties, mostly because you'll unlock two new weapons that are more powerful, though "unlock" is overstretching it because these weapons are locked behind difficulties. The game tries to market itself with cool sword and magic gameplay but the former feels weak compared to the gun while the latter feels more like making the next hit/shot an instant kill (except for the bosses). The maerketing of the game lied a lot about the game, trying to hrd to make it sound like a horror action rpg but in reality it's basically a by-the-numbers wave shooters with good art direction and not much else, and for a game based on chinese myth, it really didn't expand much especially on the enemy variety (3 enemies, 2 bosses).

It's nice that they finally dropped it to $10, but it also means that they didn't want to bother supporting the game, which it's not a surprise since the publishers aren't well-known for supporting their projects.

Sorry if I kinda ranted over a game nobody talks about anymore lol. It's just whenever I see thegame, I can't help but sense wasted potential and how it shows the problem for most gallery shooters on VR (though at least there's Brookhaven and Blasters of the Universe). An average game is one thing, but one with wasted potential is a huge disappointment. This is why wave shooters are less liked among the PSVR community, despite there being a few niche fans.

If you want a PSVR game that does gunplay and swordplay amazingly without stripping the game down just to prevent VR sickness (unlike Walker), I highly recommend Sairento. It's one of my favorite PSVR games right now and I like it way more than most PSVR action games personally.

I've got this for Oculus and I was surprised by how good it was. The puzzles and combat seem very inspired by Zelda. I actually like that they took a linear "room by room" approach to progression rather than constantly having the screen scroll along through a level. It makes it that much more satisfying when you figure out the puzzle in a room and make your way to the next one.

I really wish there were more games like this for VR, because just like on any console, constantly playing first person games can start to feel extremely redundant.

Your ethusiasm for VR is apparent and it makes these videos so pleasant to watch. Only youtuber where I watch the main content and also look forward to the VR videos, even if I'm nowhere near getting a VR setup!

I love the way you describe the experience of a game. You somehow capture the whimsy and charm of these titles that no one else does.

I haven't played the game, but the soundtrack is simply wonderful!
It's like a darker, more mythical "Song of the sea"

Also, another thing I'd like to point out is that the little mouse friend you have preforms sign language so even deaf people can play it. It's such a nice touch that wasn't really necessary, but it makes it so much better of a game because of it.
