Just talking about some changes to the channel, what my past year has been like, and what challenges I've been facing. And of course what you can expect from the channel in the future. All feedback greatly appreciated!

Personally speaking, I love your year-end "Best Games of the Year." They allow you to talk about games that you love that you probably wouldn't get to talk about otherwise, and they've helped me get into some games that I love, especially Phasmophobia from your 2020 list. I totally get your decision to wanna drop them, but it would be rather unfortunate to see them go.

I just got a new kitty too. That's #2 for us. Loving that weird little cat-friend lifestyle.
I personally really enjoy your top 10's, but think chasing that sweet sweet December revenue is SO worth it. If you do stick with those videos, I say they should permanently live in January.

I love me some Bionicle, but never really grew up with the games! But I consider myself a bit of a Flash historian. If you ever want to an excuse to explore a collab (something I'd love to do more of this year) I'd love to throw my hat in the ring for something like that. We can rep Canada together ;)

6:32 Nitro referring to his cats as "funny little dudes" is one of the sweetest things I've ever seen on this channel.
Also: I do really like your top 10s for the more lesser known games you bring up rather than always defaulting to just the popular games and I (and many others here) love your videos for the optimistic take on things that interest you. Your best games of the year have a lot of that. But if you want to drop them, that's totally understandable.

Quality has most definitely gone up. Last year was hard so don't beat yourself up for not getting things out as much as you used to, and you've got new people to be with that need you around.

Your horror reviews are a personal favorite of mine, especially when you go into detail about how cinematography and gameplay correlates to the ability to strike fear into the player. So timing of the year I could care less about. Cats are adorable and cheers to 2022

8:36 When you started mentioning about how December was the month that brings in the most revenue, and you needed to go all out in that month to bring in the most revenue, but also managed to cover tormented souls for not only the horror game collective, but it would also save himself for rent in January: Props to you man! I think this was a smart play for what would've been some sort of doom on your side of things. But also too, I think if the Top games of 2021 for you ends up doing poorly, please focus your energy on making content in relation to what you love!

The interesting thing is, the annual top 10 can easily be something handled a lot more loosely in the podcast, like you can dedicate an episode at the end of the year to talk about games you and Brady played and enjoyed that year with a lot more leniency, as you don't need to narrow it down to only 10 games. You can even just throw in little clips of gameplay as you talk about different games, if you wanted to match the feeling of the top 10s a bit more.

I personally wouldn't mind another proper Nitro Rad in December, either, as I feel like you have a lot more opportunity to thrive when you're given a full-length video to talk about a game - some of your best moments come from analyzing/talking about very particular aspects, something that's not really possible when the game only gets to occupy a tenth of a video's runtime.

Honestly, even though it’s 100% your decision, I would really hate to see those Top 10 videos go. They’ve genuinely inspired me and I’ve watched them each hundreds of times, observing the incredible editing, your speech pattern, ect so I could try and find my own groove. And they’re just entertaining as hell! Once again it’s your decision but if it helps at all with your decision, those videos (and yours in general) are some of my all time favorites.

Not gonna lie, I’d be really hyped for a year of bionicle! I never understood the franchise and it’d be a bonding experience for me and my boyfriend; he’s absolutely obsessed with them so I look forward to that year! Also loved seeing the cats and their names :)

I think "games I played in [year]" videos rule, I enjoy seeing what video-makers have played for fun (especially if there are smaller gems that wouldn't come up in any other context). That being said, I fully understand the need to prioritize videos that will make money at the end of the year

The quality of this channel seems like it’s been improving, and legitimately I do enjoy the videos when the game at hand seems interesting to me. Oh, that and the April Fools episodes. It’s legitimately a crime that those don’t have more views imo.

Anyways, the level of quality you put into these videos is a step above anyone else that makes these kinds of videos, and even with your filmmaking experience, I enjoy the contradiction of you filming and editing at 60fps. It’s a nice change of pace and just makes the videos seem more fun. This channel is like the comfort food of “guy talks about video game channels” for me, it’s pretty consistently great and I hope to always see these videos in my sub box as long as you’re happy making them.

4:29 this line really hit home. I don't have the best relationship with my family and just getting out more with friends really helped with my mental health. I'm happy to hear your doing better and sorting things out. Moving out as well is going to be a big step and from how you describe it I honestly can't wait.

Side note: I love your end of year top tens as I can hear your opinions on a variety of games and not just one. However, do what you think is best as no matter what you upload I will keep watching because of you and how entertaining you are. Here's to another year of amazing content.

Please don't stop the top 10s, they're always something I look forward to by the end of the year, and it's always great seeing games I'm into and ones I'm unfamiliar with appear on the list T_T
