Ingredients
2 large chicken breasts, cut to make four equal width thinner pieces
Avocado oil spray
1 tb salt, I use Celtic salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley flakes

Instructions
First, make the spice rub by combing all the spices in a small bowl, mix to combine and set aside. Then, you want to make sure you preheat the air fryer for at least 5 minutes prior to cooking so it is nice, hot, and ready to go. I simply just turn on my air fryer on 390F or 198C for 5 minutes. Once you cut the chicken breast into thinner pieces, Lay it onto a cutting board, to both sides of the chicken add some avocado oil spray, rub it in, and then sprinkle on the spice rub, spread it all on the chicken with your fingers. Depending on the size of your air fryer you may need to do this in batches, I do two chicken breast slices at a time. Lay chicken in the preheated air fryer and cook on 390F for 4 minutes. Then flip the chicken over and cook and additional 3-4min. Make sure internal temp is at least 155F but preferably not more, chicken will continue to rise in temp one removed from the air fryer and will reach 165F. Rest for a few minutes slice and enjoy!

Remember, folks, if your air-fried chicken is hard to cut, then it's undercooked. If it's easy to cut but hard to chew, then it's overcooked. Cooking at 180°C for 8-10 minutes and flipping halfway through is usually enough. If your chicken is still dry, try cooking at 160°C for 3 minutes and then at 180°C for 7 minutes. When chicken breasts are cooked slower, they don't dry out as quickly.

Try 200c for 6 minutes on each side and then keep air frying for additional 2 minutes without flipping. Also don’t forget to add some kind of oil. I added Grape seed oil and it came out so juicy!

I try hammering to be slightly flatter. Anything works too, like the bottom of a can of beans or even a water bottle.

you have to brine your chicken in order for it to retain its juices and not dry out.

Looks great! can't wait to try. Dependent on size of chicken and air fryer of course, but I find I literally only need 5 minutes total and my chicken starts to get over cooked. I usually take it out at 4-5, measure temp, and let it rest for 2-3. thanks for sharing! I need to get a spray bottle for oil.

You should’ve let it rest. All that juice coming out is going to dry out the chicken when you actually plate it
