'Significant' bullying and harassment in Commons

MPs could soon be forced to adopt new employment measures after an independent inquiry found an unacceptable culture of sexual harassment, bullying and abuse in the House of Commons.

Anonymous employees reported MPs shouting and screaming at them and throwing heavy office furniture across the room.

With one man describing unwelcome sexual advances as a "necessary evil" for junior staff with no political connections.
