A quiet winter morning❄️/ slow life in Switzerland.

In today's video I'm going to share with you a little of a quiet winter's morning. I went for a walk, had a quick trip to the supermarket, came home and prepared a simple, healthy and delicious lunch. I really hope you enjoy it and get some peace and cosiness.

In 1998, I accepted an offer from a company in Basel for a one year work contract. I flew from Florida to Basel Airport and a friend picked me up. I stayed with him temporarily until I was approved for an apartment. That year was one of the best of my life. Switzerland is such a wonderful country in so many ways, and its beauty is right at the top. I would take weekend train trips to various towns in Switzerland, spend the day there and take the train back to Basel. The mountains are magnificent. So many wonderful memories. Thank you for posting these videos. It brought a smile to my face.

You’re lunch looks so delicious! The views you shared of the snow covered mountains, the quaint pathways through the trees, the monastery, and that view from the bench was such a pleasure to watch. I'm glad you treated yourself to some tulips you deserve it, your videos are so restful and restorative and I love to watch them. I honestly believe there is such a sense of contentment and joy to be had in looking after your home, I'm working this weekend and am looking forward to being at home once I've done . My plan is to clean out my small greenhouse wash the glass and clear out the cobwebs and clutter it may take a couple of weeks so that in March I can enjoy sowing seeds in preparation of the summer months xx

Two years ago we had a tough time. As a surprise, my daughter and son in law and his parents, took us to Switserland. Also to visit my son in law’s sister. She lives in Zürich. What a lovely life you have. Your home is beautiful! The salmon lunch looked wonderful. I visited Switzerland many years ago--Lucerne, Grindlewald to the top of the Jungfraujoch-and never forgot that beautiful country you are lucky to live in. I'm a new subscriber...lovely peace and tranquility!❤
