Young man, thank you. I have been waiting for a video on this that I can understand clearly and I appreciate it.
For all people that need snow (or anything) on their meshes.

Nice tutorial. I maked materials like this long ago, now I forgot how to, so was very handy! Btw- you can easy create material function and add this snow effect to other materials easy

This is really helpful, question, can this be keyframed? for the snow to gradually appear?

Would be interesting to do one with world normals and some math and compare the instructions count.

Would there be a way to edit the values procedurally? (using in weather systems would be really cool)

It is possible to add a snow also to a real video?

Awesome idea. Also, would it work to add a dynamic texture to imitate rain falling on the rock from the top? :D

Any idea how to do this but with actual geometry to the snow on top of the mesh? I know there was a good way to do this in UE4 with displacement in the material, but I still haven't seen any good solutions for doing this in UE5..

How to create "M_MS_Default_Material" that's connected to the results?

Hey! So I am in your discord, I am trying to add this to the automaterial as an option, and I would like to point it 45 degree up from horizon, with the option to rotate about Z axis, so I can bias the intensity based on the direction the mountain slope is facing :)

Next time, please show some example scene with what you want to achieve and then start with tutorial. Let us see what you want to achieve first, so we don't waste time on watching things we don't like. By they way - it looks nice here.

Well, it's not much fun if you're not providing the texture from the tutorial.

Do you know how you can do something like this but for trees? because I have some pine trees and I would like to know if they can be covered with a snow effect too but I can't find it and when I want to apply this to the trees it doesn't come out
