I didn't love my jobs over the years so I always had hobbies to keep me from losing my mind. Now I have time to perfect the many craft fails, wonky home improvements, catch up on reading and travel. My plan is to add group exercise and learn Italian and then visit the country so they can mock my attempts at the language.

I have taken up a musical instrument. I played guitar for decades and now have a real nice mandolin. I have taught myself to play "old time" fiddle tunes. There is a ukeulele gathering at the local senior center. I'm not a big fan of the uke, but an interesting and cheap hobby for some folks.
