I foolishly bought and planted some indeterminate tomatoes before knowing the difference between determinate and indeterminate. This video is gonna come in handy for my balcony garden. I'm relieved that to some extent I can limit the height of my indeterminate tomatoes!

Your video made me feel so much better! I have an indeterminate tomato that was broken on one side during a wind storm and I had to cut it where it was damaged. Now I know that what I did was basically topping it and eventually new suckers will form on that side. Thankfully I still have my tomato on the side that was unharmed along with other blossoms, it's just very asymmetrical at the moment

I have needed this info. Thks! I have 4 very long indeterminate tomato plants on a makeshift study trelliss BUT I will cross-cross the branches and let new growth hang toward the ground(4 feet from top of trellis). Ugh. But wondered if/how to top it. Running outta room!!!….a glorious problem……in the end. You answered my question. I will wait until they dangle down closer toward the ground. So glad that plants will utilize their
energy in the remaining branches eventually. They are well fed and lotsa sun!! Your video so helpful and clear!!! I subscribed!!!!
