I got the house in my Bifurcation Divorce (June 2023). My ex died on 10-18-2025. Our Living Will & Trust is likely NOT valid after our divorce. We were married 34 years. My ex-spouse depleted his assets. No Quit Claim Deed was filed in court, but he signed a QCD well in advance of his death. No children. His siblings never opened an Estate. His Attorney is owed $36, 000 and was NOT paid so my ex died owing his attorney. My Bifurcation decree states that I am NOT responsible for ANY of his debts. His Attorney threatened me with Probate court and "force" me to sell my house. I still have a Mortgage.
