I seen it all over Asia: people work hard for money that is in our eyes a pittance, but gets them out of poverty, into a house with food and education!
AND they are happier than any of those depressed, spoilt, affluence brats...

These are the same people who get upset about deforestation in the Amazon over roads and farmland development while they live in countries that have plenty of roads to access resources and plenty of farmland to supply those resources

When that lower wage is in that economy is enough to feed house and support that family. Balance is maintained. In say the USA with food housing general cost of living are at least two hundred time the cost in real terms. Equate the comparative real values and cost to reach the actual figures

It's not that I want to make the chinese sweatshop workers suffer.. they already are. I just don't want to support the Chinese or any other communist country that is reaping the true benifits. Unfortunately there is currently almost no way around it for the average person..

In other words, those poor Chinese workers have nothing, but $2 a day is better than nothing ALTHOUGH they’re still poor & work like rundown dogs. Companies paying those workers a few dollars more will NOT bankrupt them. They’ll still be extremely wealthy. Problem is that they’re greedy, soulless slave drivers. “Oh, master - thank you for the crumbs you threw my way. So passionate. So caring.” Taking full advantage of poor people.

Here's an idea, start your own company. Pay yourself and whoever you want whatever you want. I do suggest some basic math skills first. Maybe you'll find a teacher that has no bills, no taxes and is generous enough with "their time is just as valuable" to teach it to you free.

I wonder how many of them have laptops, mobile phones, tablets, desktops, monitors, TVs, flat screens, clothing, shoes etc but don’t want to contribute by actually doing anything but judge others. How many of these college students donate even $2 dollars that can impact a person in another country. God forbid they actually do something other than pass judgement.

I live in the US. I could care less if I only made $2/hr as long as the gallon of milk was 5 cents/gallon.
It's all relative.
You can't complain about the equity of wages if your commenting on here with your $600-$1000 device. And most will have multiple devices.
