This week saw the deaths of 13 people in a collision between a minibus taxi and a truck
on the R66 between Ulundi and Melmoth in KwaZulu-Natal.
Investigations are still under way to determine the cause of the crash, but there have been renewed calls on taxi drivers to exercise caution on the roads and to consider their passengers.
Today, the Transport Education Training Authority, together with the Bergville Taxi Association, held a road safety campaign in the KZN midlands.

Taxi drivers don't respect anybody or anything. Taxi are a law unto their own, ANC allows this .
