Fascinating stories. Interesting that the crews in some just went missing. Were valuables left behind? Because I would think pirates would take any in plain view. Also another thought. Maybe in a case or two maybe it was a case of killing a spouse to collect insurance, how long does it take a court to declare someone deceased? If I had a family member who went missing under such conditions I would hire a PI to investigate further. Creepy stuff.
