One fact about the Merhino goal: it was the same third free kick with same set pieces. Am surprised that Liverpool did not find the solution. Think one of the first similar free kick was taken during the 1st half. Could have kept all the bunch of Arsenal front line players off side. What confuses me is that if arsenal players start a free kick from an offside position, and if the Liverpool defence step up a yard as the free kick is being taken, the attacking players would be offside yup, rather than them being on by cms / inches does that make sense in a defensive context strategically.

The first goal against Liverpool, it was because of Robertson not paying attention to the ball but he puts all his attention on the man - Bukayo Saka, putting his hands on Saka with no attention on the ball at all, so Saka just slightly stayed back and the ball was right there for Saka. The worst for Robertson, he fell like a brick in trying to recover.
