@MrAJtech In Xcode 4 you can show the library go to View > Utilities > Object Library in the menu bar.

Great videos, thanks! I decided to pick another language(I did Java in high school), and this is really helping me get the hang of it.

@ThatGuyTheAtheist Make sure you save the code files (pressing Command+s) before trying to access the stuff in the code from interface builder.

@Jiggerjinn you could start by watching this and the rest of my iPhone programming lessons, thena if you still dont get exactly what you are doing I would buy a book.

@brunopevide note that you have to capitalize the word setText: properly. Also, it would really help if you wrote the text of the error in the comment so that I can help you.

@nr1Nerd When you create a new Xcode project, a lot of the template code is there automatically; although a good programmer should be able to fill it in if needed. Programming is a skill that takes much time and learning, not something that just makes sense right away. These tutorials are probably not the best for someone who has never coded before in their lifetime.

@guinlyone if you don't have the latest Xcode I would update it. If you do, I might reinstall it. It may be a messed up setting or something.

@brewskhee I feel that apple is nothing like Microsoft. Unlike Microsoft, apple is completely proprietary about all of their products. You can only run Mac OS X on mac hardware, you can only run iPhone OS on phone hardware, and you can only use an iPod if you pay a few hundred dollars for one. This is something that doesn't mean much to most people, but if you don't have the hardware (or money), you cannot have the apple glamor!

In XCODE4, "hello_worldViewController" will be(only) "ViewController" at right hand side of xcode.

Find a tutorial for Xcode 4, I guess... In Xcode 4, creating a project creates a file called ViewController without a prefix like `hello_world`.

Right my problem is that once i have copied the xcode copied perfectly in interface builder the view connections only has the view there and the label and text field are not showing. I don't know why it's doing this
