Dude, I'm gonna ask you some noob questions (I used to be informed about all of the stuff in the PS3 scene but I haven't touched my PS3 in years and I'm outdated :P ). Currently I have a PS3 Slim, with OFW 4.75. I just want to install a CFW that allows me to install .pkg mods to some games, and at the same time, not being banned from PSN (in fact, being able to use the PS Store, playing online, etc) . Which CFW do you recommend me? Should I install that one from the XMB or recovery?. Then, what does this "iSpoof" thing do? Does it prevent me to get banned from PSN?. If I ever want to update the firmware, should I disable it first (and how?) ?.

I know those are a lot of questions, but I've seen that you answered to a lot of people... so you're a nice guy :P . Thanks dude!

Yo ApexG, got one then ran ps3 pup checker so it's valid (3.55 I had to reformat my 250GB Slim hdd because of freezing issues. It was bought a couple weeks ago(don't know history), it had 3.55 ofw/stand alone QA toggle, 1st time I go to turn off...black screen green light blinking, just seemed like it hang a lot, like turn on then just the ps3wave at times then that might freeze or might start fine, (just dumb shit in general) anyways does ps3 have a proprietary fat32 file system, cant format on window7 even diskpart through command prompt "fullformat", tried FAT32 Formatter said it worked on a quick format. Its keeps asking me to install 2.70 or greater my usb has PS3, UPDATE folders so when I press start, select together of course it says data corrupted 8002F255, is there a driver for hdd, I can buy new one, thought the ps3 should format it when installed, should I throw it in my other ps3 ofw 4.7, can I throw my my hdd that's in my OFW 4.70 in this console (was that a dumb Q. ?) it has gta5 all updated all friends other crap, it says drive is healthy on win7 in disk management I know a lot about pc's, this seemed like a fun hobby, don't know a lot but do a lot of homework before doing things, I wouldn't of reformatted but after a series of restoring it wouldn't make it past setting the date it would freeze. I did have 3.55OFW>Kmeaw3.55>rex4.70.1cex>dex, 1 error could be I installed multiman cex then went to dex, then it would freeze, could hear music though when I tried running multiman dex as well, but console performance freezy hangy from start. After restoring one time control console message would keep coming up even though I didn't put it back on yet, so would webman. I will donate, this was one of my shorter questions, thanks for any feed
