The dynamic between El and Vecna is so good to watch. Like pre season 4 I didn't like the idea of the mind flayer just wanting to kill without any real reasons at the time. Seeing them face to face is so much better.

When Vecna saw Eleven and said "YOU!", that looks to me like direct homage to NOES part 3, when Freddy encounters once again with Nancy Thompson, saying exact same line.
