I love how Mike is holding her hand by her side! He’s been by her side as always. He definitely loved her since the day they met before he started falling for her at such a young age. Even when he tried to tell her that he likes her more than a friend and asked her to the dance.

Finn really broke out his acting chops for this scene, and it was awesome. It's one of my favorite scenes of the entire series.

My boy Mike finally got the words right this time. In this season it seems like he doesn’t love Eleven anymore but its just hard for him to pour his feelings out. He has always been like that and i’m glad he finally figured out the words to say to her, because she’s been wanting to hear them for awhile.

This was beautiful! Mike chanting fight giving El strength. But did anyone else notice Lucas started to fight back too! Beautiful scene all around. I was in tears!

Will telling Mike that he is the heart could be some serious foreshadowing. In season 1 Mike was the one who was the most devoted to finding Will. When Will was believed dead Mike was the only one who believed El and kept going. When Dustin was threatened he was willing to jump of a cliff to save him getting hit teeth cut out. However as his feelings for El grew he seemed to leave his friends behind a bit. Will telling him he’s the heart could be him reminding him who he really is. He was the one who inspired El to fight and if he hadn’t Max would’ve died. I hope in season 5 we see him inspiring everyone else to keep fighting.

Mike’s strong love for El really made her stronger. They’re literal soulmates. He’s the first person that’s been nice to her since she was trapped and used by Dr. Brenner. A man like Mike is what every woman needs.

I don't know why after all these seasons and ultimately this confession people still think that mike doesn't really love El. Like?? He was the one who brought her home, hid her, protected her from everyone. He was the one who called her for 353 days. Even after the whole I dump your ass scene he still cared and told everyone that she's not a machine. He's the one who went all the way to Nevada to get her back because he promised that he'll make everything all right. When Billy was choking El in that one scene he was the one who put his life in danger to save her every single time. Just because he doesn't say ily doesn't mean he don't love her. After all actions speak louder than words. Mileven belong together.

This is one of the best moment in season 4 because we all know Mike loves El for exactly who she is. He is the one who protects her since the begining and loves her a lot ! He is the heart and they belong together.. He doesnt say ily because of his parents but Nancy didnt say it to Steve either and nobody said nothing... Mike loves El and El loves Mike. Point.

Mike has always been a ride or die for Eleven. Even after being "dumped" by El. He's a real one. I'm always moved to tears whenever I re-watch this scene. It's such a powerful scene. I hope they stay together and have a long-lasting relationship. Even after the book closes on the main story of Stranger Things.

This scene gave me chills and on my rewatch, it made me cry. I'm happy Mike finally got the chance to pour his heart out to her after many episodes of waiting. It's just moments like this that makes this show so special. I love Mike and El's relationship!

I felt Mike was a little sidelined in this season and I understand why as the storyline he was part of wasn’t as important to the plot but this moment really made up for it. Mike giving her the encouragement to fight back thanks to him telling her that he loves her was so sweet and powerful.
