In your video you have a Steam icon in the tray (right down corner), but I don't have it. Same trouble with Skype, Dropbox etc, only standart applets for cinnamon. How to fix it?

Suggest a linux distro for me: i7 920 @ 3.8GHz, 5870gpu, 6GB RAM, 250GB SSD.

On Win10 I normally would game (emulators, pc games etc) use video editors for YTP, pretty much the lazy user who wants to be catered to. Win10 did just that for me, but now I think I want to try Linux.

I install anything I get my hands on just to try it out.. RPG Maker, VirtualMidiSynth, Fruityloops, etc etc... some programs stay, some get removed.. I'm that kinda person.

Based on my hardware and always loving fun innovative features, what's the way to go?

Can you move the taskbar to the sides of the screen now? Dealbreaker for me if you can't.
