The Pittsburg tool set is the perfect set for a guy who keeps all his tools in his truck and just ocassionally needs some basic tools for simple house work to avoid digging in the truck.

I had one of those burgess viba tool, about fifty years ago it can in a box with an assortment of points and cutting tips, wouldn't work on wood but it did work for tooling leather, that one came in a wooden case given to me by my father about twenty years ago a friend gave me another one it was newer in a metal case with the same tips and cutters.

So, I use one of those 12" tool bags to hold the Bauer orbital sander I bought last year, works great, still plenty of room for an oscillating multitool as well. Also, good to know that the Herc router I bought the other week is the half-brother of the Skil ones. I haven't used mine yet, but it felt pretty substantial when I was checking it out in the box (and checking to see if the hose from the Bauer 3gal wet/dry vac I bought would fit into the router's dust extraction connectors - it did).

I should probably look into ITC next time, but I got the router kit for the same price ($100) on one of HF's regular "super coupons" the other week, and the orbital sander on a coupon for $20. (And the other couple of bigger-ish ticket items I bought lately didn't have any ITC discounts either.)

I started into the Bauer ine along with my DeWalt...why aren't they offering a 3/8" drive 20v ratchet? I went to store to buy one yesterday and nada. ALSO a small rant every Harbor Freight I've been in kills my phone recaption and there is no wifi so I can't chek my coupons and sales without stepping back outside, which is typically looked upon with suspicion by the loss prevention guys! ;) The red three shelf cart is "OK" I've had one for about two years and I use it often in my detail shop the paint isn't holding up well BUT I do abuse the paint with all my chemicals and it lives in a wet humid environment. It's just slightly rickety and it's an interesting build but for $69 it works. If I had it to do over I would;ve went with the poly two shelf

I purchased a Harbor Freight 15amp router to replace a Freud router that I burned out. Finished chamfering the corners of the logs of my custom log home. Routed all my custom made trim for the house and it is still going strong. Oh I forgot to mention that it was purchased in 1994!

Just paid $139 for a Green 3-ton Daytona jack (37:20). (Only problem was it came without enough oil! So I had to buy oil before I could use it.)
I REALLY wanted the purple one (37:42), but $90 more was too much for me. 😕 If I'd realized it had a 3-yr warranty I'd have considered it a lot more highly.)

Hercules looks great but line is limited. I already have Ryobi, Ridgid, Bosch 12v, B&D, Hart 40v. Just not unique enough or widespread line to justify!

Pass on the recipe saw, I got one and it broke before I could get 3 1976 wood doors out of there jams.. but the Hercules table saw is pretty great 👍

I use the aluminum motor cycle jack as a transmission jack. So nice vs the red trany jack

6 years of using the predator auger and still going strong. When I have old gas in it it makes a bit of smoke but it still works great.

Hercules just released a big right angle hole saw they’re comparing to the Milwaukee hole hawg. Got it last weekend for only $80! Literally 1/3 the price of other brands. Also got a 12ah eBay for $70. Only used it twice but I’m sure I’ll be happy with it. Probably gonna get the deep cut band saw too and ultra torque. Those tools are very very expensive with other brands and I could not afford them otherwise

I do love some harbor frieght in my opinion get a majority of stuff on these sales and when you find you use something a bunch you can upgrade that one thing. Makes it easier to explain to the ole lady when i spend a couple hundred and have a bunch of bags instead of just 1 or 2 things
