I like how she mixes cheap eat options with nicer places! Eating at nice places ALL the time can definitely break the bank. I stayed at Golden Nugget several years ago. Would definitely stay again if only to use the pool again!!

What I love most about this is that you're above all else; HONEST. It's a very good quality review (great video, good editing/tricks/etc) not overly flashy but still we get the straight facts as if we were just normal folks checking in. Love this.

Thanks for this review/vlog! I took some family to the Encore at Wynn a couple of years ago, but my father loved the Golden Nugget. He is a very simple, old-fashioned dude and I realized he probably would've preferred to stay there even though it was only 25% of what I paid at Encore. I'm hoping to take family to Vegas again this Spring, and I think this time I'll be booking rooms at the Golden Nugget.

Love the GN! We always got cabanas at the pool and had a great time!!! My favorite downtown property, but I have never stayed at the Circa so maybe GN is second best downtown right now.

We stayed in a Rush Tower room about 5 years ago and now everytime we stay at Golden Nugget that is the only tower i will stay in, beautiful property, tight ass machines.

Mr & Mrs Ruby, you guys are killing it. This is the best Las Vegas VLOG I've seen. I go to Las Vegas monthly and enjoy staying downtown. When my wife comes along we stick with the M Resort, Red Rock, Rampart / JW Marriott, Green Valley Ranch, South Pointe, the Silverton. Check out some of the nicer hotels off strip. Great value and some amazing pools without the crowds.

We stayed in the Gold Tower at the Nugget two weeks ago and it was ok...not nearly as nice as yours but we had no smell. :-) They comped our rooms for the week and all of our food so I'm not complaining. We also had good luck on the machines so overall it was a great trip and nice to see Vegas coming back. You're correct we stayed Monday through Friday and it was crowded compared to the other downtown casinos. We walked across Fremont Street to check out the Circa which was amazing and much less crowded but I'm still a huge Golden Nugget fan. Thanks for all your awesome videos!

fremont street-golden nug is my fav even though i could afford any--don't drink or gamble but love all the freaks on fremont--the pool is awesome
