doesn't even name the CPU (I looked closely and it's an AMD Ryzen 3 3300X) (it's max power draw was 90 W)

When you have fans in front of the case those fans are still pushing a little bit of air through your cooler

It's surprising how much that tiny fan helps.

It would be nice if you tested it with the case panels closed like how a normal pc case is

Deepcool is such an underrated brand. Only ever had good experiences with their products.

Passive cooling was used for decades across a variety of PCs and electronics, but as processors became more advanced, other forms of cooling eventually had to be attempted, such as by using fans or, more recently, "water" cooling.

You can look at old "budget" graphics cards you'd often find in pre-builts from 15 or so years ago as examples of components that use passive cooling.

passive coolers are just a waste of money LOL

If you maybe use an actual passive cooler instead of an active cooler with the fans yoinked off…

And a passive cooler functions by letting the air heat up and move upwards like hot air does, allowing new, cold air to get to the fans. Now look at how you mounted your cooler.

Try that in tropical countries without an AC 😂
