How to build a passive PC with the Noctua NH-P1

preview_player
Показать описание
Custom-designed for fanless operation from the ground up, the NH-P1 is capable of cooling modern high-end CPUs with low to moderate heat dissipation completely passively. However, building a passively cooled system is not as straightforward as building a regular system. For optimal results, we suggest users follow the suggestions and recommendations offered in this video guide.

Noctua should patent the voice of this guy ASAP.
His voice is so quiet, so brown, so Noctua.

I want this guy to hold me on a cold night and tell me about heat dissipation, whilst I fall asleep

This is how a corporate tutorial should me made. No corny jokes, no hype, just information presented in a classy and easy-to-understand way.

I absolutly love Noctua's brand, this company is insane with how much they care about products they sell and that they put so much effort to do every one of those compatibility lists etc. that's amazing and that's why I love this brand

You will get much better deals with other cpu fan companies, but Noctua treats their customers better than any company. This kind of calming, straight forward build guides shows how much they care about their customers. They always give so much details and helpful insides.

I'm really happy to find yet another option to lessen the noise on a PC system. I love that some in-depth explanation was given in regards to each component. I'm glad the gentleman talked about how the glass side panel was just for show, and that the aluminum side panel is best. Science!

I didn't know Rami Malek worked for Noctua

This cooler with an AMD 5700G APU would mean silent gaming at 1080p! That's a tempting prospect, given the current GPU situation...

I think the most interesting choice would be the Ryzen 5950X with the 65W ECO mode enabled. Fully passive 16-core CPU...

That's a beast right there, and quite impressive performance for a passive cooler. That's also a slick looking case I didn't know about, so thanks for that tip.

I feel like Matt from DIYPerks could have narrated this video... This is SO pleasing to see, alas my processor can't run fanless according to the compatibility list, anyway what an amazing product. Maybe undervolting/limiting the base clock could work without too much performances impact... What a great new toy :D
