My take away is that my biggest sticking point might be that I am not social enough. I couldn't spontaneously invite girls to events. All of my interests except going to the gym I usually do in solitude. Other than for working out, I barely leave the house.

So the cold approach is one thing. But having a dating spot or activity ready would be the next step for me.

Approaching women isn’t the (primary) issue; I can only speak for myself, but I have no qualms about approaching women. The issue is, why? For what purpose? The only reason I have to approach a woman is because I’m interested in a specifically monogamous romantic relationship, something most women really aren’t serious about pursuing, especially with an average man such as myself. Nothing wrong with practicing or socializing, but approaching women just seems like an action with zero purpose at this point…..
